## RESEARCH PROJECTS at STAT&ML Lab:

**STAT&ML Lab**is a non-profit organization to bring young minds into research projects on Statistics & Machine Learning. Our lab's primary goal is to promote research in Statistics & ML in India and throughout the world. The mode of communication will be fully ONLINE and NO stipends will be paid to the students.

We look for highly motivated and research-minded M.Sc / M.Tech students who are willing to solve "

**Application-driven problems**" from different fields with universal tools like Statistics and a cutting-edge tool like Machine Learning. We will post positions for academic projects again in November, 2020.

**APPLICATION IS CLOSED FOR RESEARCH PROJECTS (AUGUST 2020 - OCTOBER 2020)**

The students should be motivated enough to take the research challenges which will be guided by the experts in the respective fields.

**The student should devote daily approximately 5 hours in the research project work for three months**Since the objective of this research internship is to come up with a publishable research paper at the end of the project, thus only research-minded students are encouraged to apply.

**(August 2020 - October 2020)**.

**Applications are invited from eligible students for the following research projects & one student can apply for only one project out of five projects. Outstanding Bachelor's students are also encouraged to apply. Selection will be purely based on your performance in the interview.**

The LAST DATE to apply is June 30, 2020. The applicants will be informed about the interview procedures on July 1, 2020.
